General Event Coordination & Publicity:

- Oversee the general event coordination by sub-committees
- Negotiate and contract facility for event
- Handle all publicity, ads, announcements and appearances
- Determine decoration theme/colors
- Arrange for video/photography
- Arrange for entertainment/DJ/MC
Fundraising Sub-Committee:

- Ascertain sponsors for monetary donations
Advertising/Publicity Sub-Committee:
Chair: Dirci Borelli Marquart
- Handle all public announcements and appearances
- Place ads in the various publications
- Place no-cost announcements in the various publications
Decoration Sub-Committee:
Chair: Megan Clark
Co-Chair: Ana Luiza Godoy
- Plan events decoration
- Order/purchase needed supplies
- Decorate location for event
Chefs Sub-Committee:
Chair: Ronnie Osterman
Co-Chair: Clara Dinterman
- Identify and contact Restaurants/Chefs to participate in the gala
- Work w/Chefs on competition requirements, recipes, display needs
- Get plaques for winners, appreciation gifts for other chefs
- Get Health Dept license
Judging Panel Sub-Committee:

- Attain judges for competition
- Work w/ judges on competition requirements, prepare ballot sheets
- Get appreciation gifts for the judges
Artwork & Web Development Sub-Committee:

- Develop web site for FSCA/Chocolate Gala event
- Get someone to implement plan and maintain it
Posters/Ticket Sales Sub-Committee:

- Work with printer for the posters and tickets
- Distribute posters
- Distribute tickets to selling points
- Coordinate the selling of tickets
Ad Sales & Program Book Sub-Committee

- Secure Ads for Program Book
- Work with printing shop
- Collect ad information and all other text from other sub-committees
- Coordinate proper insertion of texts
Culinary Institute Student Program Sub-Committee:

- Organize, promote and supervise participation of students with participating chefs/restaurants
- Produce paperwork necessary to accreditation/participation
- Produce Chocolate Center Piece for Event
Silent Auction Sub-Committee:

- Obtain item donations for Silent Auction
- Collect items other committee members have obtained
- Obtain basket and items for baskets, make-up baskets
- Prepare auction sheets
- Supervise the auction during the event
Youth Ambassador for Peace Program Sub-Committee:
