2010 Youth Ambassador for Peace Program

The Youth Ambassador for Peace program was launched in 2008, with the purpose of engaging young people in citizen diplomacy and peace has been a success. The inaugural youth ambassadors, Austin Lewis and Caitlin Holtzinger, visited our sister cities in 2008. Austin went to Aquiraz, Brazil, in September and Caitlin visited Schiferstadt in November. The 2009 Youth Ambassador Cali Phillips recently visited Schifferstadt and Morzheim in Germany. She will be making a presentation about her trip at the 2010 Chocolate Gala. Information will soon be available for youth interested in being considered for the 2010 Youth Ambassador for Peace Program.
